Saw this today perusing the new Economist. Note that Japan's numbers don't really make sense, because deflation is treated as a good thing with this index. Amazingly enough, we are in worse shape than Italy. Thank god I have a Canadian passport.

That would run afoul of copyright laws, no?

Besides, most of the little article in contained in the chart. If you read the footnote and keep in mind that little caveat about Japan, it's pretty self explanatory.
