hey,
Just bought a 2005 rockhopper pro disc.
its a great bike but i believe i need to upgrade a few things.
i would like to start with the seat, crank and handle bars.
Any thoughts on some good replacement parts. Im really new to mountain biking and have no idea what is good.

the seat is a personal preference type of thing, try out a bunch and see what you like, as for a cranks, I dont know how much you want to spend, but something like an outboard bearing Shimano LXor XT cranks,
for hadle bars, I like the easton carbon ones, but if your not rich, then some lower end easton Al. bars would be fine, you also have to think about what ben and rise you want, Also are you using 31.8 or 25.4 bars:

I'll second the cranks upgrade to outboard shimano.alot of times you can find truvative stylos with the outboard(GXP) on the net for less than the xt.I also love the easton carbon bars but lately have tried the answer protaper carbon in the 31.8 and I love it.Just one mans humble opinion.
