Wanted to give a heads up about this upcoming (August 8th - 12th) bike camp for young teens, pre-teens. We did this last year and had a blast. This year there are still a few spots available. If you know any kids with nothing to do, send them our way.

Yours,
William

Sponsored by Redmond Parks and Rec and the Cascade Bicycle Club Education Foundation, the Urban Riders Camp is an opportunity for 11 to 14 year-olds to explore the neighborhood by bike.

Play Bike Polo with a local expert. Fix-a-Flat. Make bike art. Ride to demonstrate your responsibility and earn the respect of parents, peers, and other road users. Ride to a nearby bowling alley and throw a few strikes. Ride the back trails to Farrell McWhirter park and play Ultimate Frisbee. Ride to Woodinville and tour a local recycling facility. Picnic at an organic farm. Each day will include a “bikeable” activity as well as a few safety tips and simple bike maintenance to keep your wheels in action!

Bring a bike and a helmet and let’s ride!
