I wanna get rid of my shiver for my giant 02 TEAM DH. I want to get a 03 six inch sherman slider. HOW WILL THIS FIT on the bike? will the bike be to short, or will i like it, please help. i will be racing the bike for DH again next season.

any one on here ever ridden a giant with a 6 inch fork. i guess my bigest Q is will it be enough travel???

It will be enough travel but it will probably be a bit steep for racing.

not so much the travel being the issue i assume the axle to crown difference will be shorter add that to the less travel and i think the bike will be twitchy and very steep.

Blong rode his Giant DH with one in 2003. He liked it, but he's wierd. He rode it with a 5" Z1, too, and liked it that way. Go figure. It will be low and steep. A 7" model might be a better bet.
