Get up people I need food and a LOT of coffee. I may have to hit up a Denny's as not much is open. Went straight for hot wings directly from the airport

I ordered 3 out of 4 hot but they were not hot at all but pretty tasty. Still have not gotten collar greens like I had in Austin.

Bike is going to the shop today for the fork to be serviced. One conference call today then a bunch of electronic training, so not really doing much. Bike rack went back onto the Subaru last night; dirt season is coming.

Said fuck it yesterday and stayed home making for a 4 day weekend. Serviced the seals and changed the oil in my Pike which only took me about 1 hour. Felt good about that and no trips to the bike shop to get parts I messed up doing said rebuild. Went for a hike with the wife in the afternoon thinking the trails were going to be too wet but they weren't. We could have ridden. O'well it was an enjoyable walk. Is it Friday yet?

back at work. But my oldest is home sick, with a bad cough. He's super lethargic, and a giant pain in the ass. Wife is wfh to be with him.

Looks like dirt riding season is set to begin this week. Got my fork and shock back from Vorsprung a couple of weeks ago, and they're back on the bike now, just in time. All I need to do now is bleed the brakes. I hope my elbow holds up.

You really want to move to a socialist country that is similar to Venezuela and is significantly lacking in FREEDOM???
Not to mention that there is also a lack of mountains. :cray:

the trains there are quite nice.
That is what you think. Pretty pricey, delays and now that they work on one track on the main line it is even worse. But I guess it is complaining on a high level, anything is better than the trains in the US.

The ones we rode were certainly of higher quality then any domestic airline here in the States.
when my wife (then girlfriend) were staying at my sister's place in Belgium we took the trains almost exclusively (except for the trolleys in amsterdam, and the one day my sister drove us somewhere the trains weren't convenient)

my most recent rail comparison is NJ transit, so that's a pretty low bar to beat. and granted, this was back in...... 2010 or 2011? also see my last post. we were based out of belgium

The trains, and public transportation in general, was great back in Chicago. That city knew what was up.

Related: peach tree is just about to bloom. Weather appears it will cooperate for the next week or two... so we should get through the bloom without any sort of frost/freeze. Hopefully that means lotsa peaches this year!

For the record: artists are fucking weird. :D
good luck & godspeed

Lately the government is cutting down on the educational budget for both schools and universities. Smart as Denmark has so many resources like oil, coal, rare metals, gold and diamonds that can be relied on for the future NOT! There are some really big pharma and biotech companies and they already need to employ foreign work force to fill their needs. But instead of educating students for these companies we save some money on education to buy new fighter planes from the US, because FREEDOM.

Could be, I lived on the west coast and there public transport was a joke.

Mornin!

Got our San Fran experience yesterday complete with mentally ill homeless people, nudists on the beach, and a guy stuck on the cliff that had to be rescued. Good times!

Onto Napa and Sonoma today, then perhaps up to Chico to meet up with friends. Our time in CA grows short now...
