So many really nice bikes I would like to own, so few dollars. When is the best time of the year to pick up a used bike? Do folks want to unload at the end of the year or at the beginning to get something new? It seems like later in the year might be better since the seller has to compete with dealers unloading old stock.
Is now a good time to pick up a build kit. I notice there is alot of Shimano stuff on sale now. Still the cost of an XT build kit is $1500 and that is before the frame. How do you build a nice bike cheaply?
