Is there any way/where it can be recycled? I know automotive engine oil can be "recycled" and was wondering if it can be done to fork oil too.

If not, what's the best way to dispose of it?

You can recycle it with motor oil at a recycling center (pep boys, autozone, etc.); it all gets re-refined.

On a related note, what about brake fluid??? I have asked the auto parts stores and they will not take it.

It looks like the local hazard waste facility is the only option.
