Anybodythatthinks they are remotely in the hunt for the WC Overall needs every point they can get. I'd expect Gee, Gwin, Greg, etc. are at full-throttle.For all the Americans, look at Richie Rude in 9th, very impressive. Good effort by Hill also, i wonder how much mental games were played for this run by everybody. Seems like a mellow qualifying could be a good idea on this track to avoid possible injury or is quali points that important that the contenders for the overall smashes it regardless?

I hope not. Marcelo posted on his fb that he had brake problems in leogang too. Odd.Nope. I feel guilty for saying this but I was thinking the same thing.
The more i see Gee without Dan, the more i think that he is a little lost without his Bro to talk stuff over with.dirt day II vid:

I heard that he dislocated a finger in practice this morning and just rolled through the start. He is a protected rider so he will be back for finals.I hope Smith is ok. That's a very good track for him.
i have no idea what issues he had in legoland, but according to the translation, his rear brake was taken out by a rock this time.I hope not. Marcelo posted on his fb that he had brake problems in leogang too. Odd.
I was thinking the same thing, he lost his drive. Time to knock a women up and get some new motivation.Or maybe his head just isn't in the game ;-)
So I am really cursed. Every year I pick one rider/race who doesn't start. Now I picked him for Val di Sole in Dirt league. Than I dislocate my finger and make him dislocate his finger.I heard that he dislocated a finger in practice this morning and just rolled through the start. same here, i had gracia on my team. I'm keeping him there though, in support of him being baddass. So I am really cursed. Every year I pick one rider/race who doesn't start. Now I picked him for Val di Sole in Dirt league. Than I dislocate my finger and make him dislocate his finger.
From a 3 second, partial slow-mo clip of a single turn?Hill looked really relaxed in the Dirt vid. No one else looked as relaxed to me. It was completely different from Gwin's style. I'm not sure how to describe Gwin, but he just looked compact and solid on the bike.
Marcelo wrote that CG lost his brakes at the end of the leogang race-run and still ended up 16. Sounds a bit odd that a stone took out the rear brake...i have no idea what issues he had in legoland, but according to the translation, his rear brake was taken out by a rock this time.
"Bryan Regnier , his teammate, teaches us that it was indeed his rear brake broke, broken by a stone in a corner."
Pretty bad luck to have it happen two weeks in a row, but this track is pretty heavy on the rocks. If he hit one hard enough to severly bend the rotor it could have caused the lever to pull into the bar. Bent rotor pushes the pistons all the way out and it takes a few lever pumps for them to come back.... No wonder Fraser reported him coming into the corner 5x faster than anyone else. Ouch.Marcelo wrote that CG lost his brakes at the end of the leogang race-run and still ended up 16. Sounds a bit odd that a stone took out the rear brake...
