downhill is dangerous man. What if he scraped his hip and couldn't carry his removeable chinbar in his fanny pack at the next race! How did I ever miss that there's an EWS race this weekend?!?!

Some American friends told me that his Morpheus exploded under him in Whistler, so he went and got a demo bike.Dakota Norton with a great result on his Sessi....I mean Morpheus
Seriously though, great results for him, Charlie Harrison and Bruce Klein.
Didn't she deny that in a recent interview with Warner?I think she's just not that into DH anymore. She wants to be a tube strapper.
Lots of people deny lots of things in interviews. Especially with the likes of Rob Warner.Didn't she deny that in a recent interview with Warner?
Gotta love blanket guy moving in to cover the bike corpse. I was actually expecting Kathy Sessler to magically appear and just throw her body onto the broken frame.Footage starts after the crash:

That thing has like 70" wheelbase. He either 50/50'd a lump or drove the front end into something. I don't think I've seen a frame fail like that any other way.I'm pretty sure I couldn't inflict enough force on my bike no matter how I landed to snap it like that, without breaking multiple bones. That Minnaar was walking around and carrying his bike down after that is nuts!
did it say anywhere he got injured? my guess is that its unlikely given his quali time. he may have even been a little cautious as a result of the crash tho.will be interesting to see how Greg feels tomorrow. he may have still had adrenaline on his side for quali's and the pain won't set in until later.
he was limping after the crash - i lizardly assumed that meant pain and injury.did it say anywhere he got injured? my guess is that its unlikely given his quali time. he may have even been a little cautious as a result of the crash tho.
wait - am i also supposed to know what all the photographers look like? this sport just keeps getting harder and harder...Jesus, isn't that Boris the photog with the frame cover? "Enthusiast press" staying neutral as always.
it's certainly possible. guess we'll find out tomorrow.he was limping after the crash - i lizardly assumed that meant pain and injury.
i also assumed that he'd be sore after a crash since i'm sore if i bend over too far without stretching first. sometimes i forget these guys aren't middle aged.it's certainly possible. guess we'll find out tomorrow.
greg is one of the oldest guys racing.i also assumed that he'd be sore after a crash since i'm sore if i bend over too far without stretching first. sometimes i forget these guys aren't middle aged.
<insert bending over and stretching joke here>
Looks like he may have worked at a morgue before he became a photographer.Jesus, isn't that Boris the photog with the frame cover? "Enthusiast press" staying neutral as always.
let me know when he's a 47 yr old office drone weekend warrior.greg is one of the oldest guys racing.
Just imagine all the dentists that will reconsider their purchase if we don't quickly put this jacket over the frame that's split in two. Quick Boris, quick!Footage starts after the crash:
Thanks for reminding me that those things exist. God dammit.downhill is dangerous man. What if he scraped his hip and couldn't carry his removeable chinbar in his fanny pack at the next race!

come on, how often are you riding somewhere with immovable, vertical pieces of wood all over the place?so broken from hitting a pole, not from the crash. worked as designed??
That's the desert specific carbon weave.come on, how often are you riding somewhere with immovable, vertical pieces of wood all over the place?
... now with extra UV protection! That's the desert specific carbon weave.
looked more like the front end got stuffed and it overtorqued?so broken from hitting a pole, not from the crash. worked as designed??
probably a combination of both - twisted and weakened then poled and brokened.looked more like the front end got stuffed and it overtorqued?
fortunately, rarely. cactus generally have some give to them.come on, how often are you riding somewhere with immovable, vertical pieces of wood all over the place?
