the difference is that those 50s trikots had style...Yup, the whole kit seems taken from a horse race or le tour at the 50s.

Bart Brentjens said once you reach a certain level, it becomes easier to stay there. So once you overcome the psychological barrier of being Top 10, you're bound to stay there, at least until you crash and get injured or some other disaster happens.Nice to see the names on the steps change. But also to see Pierron on top again. What a streak he's on. Pretty cool to see him hold back a bit at the top so he could finish strong.
I wonder if he can do it again in front of the home crowd.
I am with you on that one!Yeah, I can't believe gwin raced. That was pretty stupid, overall is already boned, might as well start doing real rehab on your thumb instead of fucking it up more.

Ain't no saints in America. He seems less blessed than he was last year. Jesus seems to prefer the French guy now.
Agreed. Definitely has been an exciting season. Was really hoping to see Greenland get his first win.I am with you on that one!
Next race should be great with Bruni and Hart back in the zone, Pierron surfing a wave of success, Shaw and Vergier willing to get it better and Greenland on a tracks he likes.
Interesting. A very worn out magic mary is what I was on when I fell on my head on Friday. Maybe they're great until they're not?podium tires:

greenland - dhr 2
hart - dhr 2
shaw - dhr 2
estaque - dhr 2
seagrave - magic mary

Sometimes one falls down. It is not necessary to blame a component.Interesting. A very worn out magic mary is what I was on when I fell on my head on Friday. Maybe they're great until they're not?
mmmmyeaah. but I'm good with any excuse that allows me to justify another tire purchase!Sometimes one falls down. It is not necessary to blame a component.
If the whiskers are gone, it is definitely worn more than enough to justify replacement - all in the interest of safety of course.mmmmyeaah. but I'm good with any excuse that allows me to justify another tire purchase!
That dude was on a different level...until he stacked it. But still. So composed.bruni!

UCI website is useless as normal, all I can find is this:what's the overall standings look like now? at this point i don't know if Gwin would be able to come back to take the overall (and that's assuming he gets healthy enough to race the rest of the season, which i'm kinda unsure of given he reinjured his thumb)

3 more races but Pierron has a pretty commanding lead.
gwin's out until at least MSA - his overall hopes are gone.
Greenland fastest in the second sector.Haven't looked at any of the splits but Greenland looked by far the fastest through a few sections.
He already said he's not racing this weekend, going to rehab in hopes of doing Mont-Sainte-Annewhat's the overall standings look like now? at this point i don't know if Gwin would be able to come back to take the overall (and that's assuming he gets healthy enough to race the rest of the season, which i'm kinda unsure of given he reinjured his thumb)
he says that, but depending on the severity of the injury, its entirely possible he'll miss the rest of the season. MSA is in a month, world champs is in 2 months. He already said he's not racing this weekend, going to rehab in hopes of doing Mont-Sainte-Anne
I can see him skipping the remaining World Cup rounds Andorra, MSA and aiming for World Champs.he says that, but depending on the severity of the injury, its entirely possible he'll miss the rest of the season. MSA is in a month, world champs is in 2 months.
good point. i could see him maybe racing la bresse just so he has at least one race under his belt before worlds.I can see him skipping the remaining World Cup rounds Andorra, MSA and aiming for World Champs.
