have seen seals yesterday and the day before, and a baby eagle too. 71 and breezy right now. going to walk over to the little church in town to hear some irish fiddlin' after dinner. probably get ice cream at the local general store after.
tomorrow is annual 4th parade, which draws many people, procuring lobsters from the local dock, and then firework asshattery.

Got up at 4:15 to drive to the mountains with the girl, so we could squeeze in a ride before her shift at nine, climb climb, climb and descend, then hooked up with buddy Mike for a second ride another 1100’ and down. super rad and over now, gonna catch a nap until five when she’s off.

Buddy is visiting from Costa Rica and says he wants to hike, so he flew into DEN and we did some hikes in Boulder, Loveland and RMNP.
First time I've ever driven to Colorado without a bike -- boo!
Got so fucking high today on Mt Ida (12,800') that I saw 9 big horn sheep and a fuck ton of marmots and Texans...
Weedy species those Texans!
Rinse repeat for next 2.5 weeks in BZN, ID, Yellowstone and Beartooth.
