This here would be the bears that cause me the most worry. This little guy is a year to two year and has no fear of people in the parking lot there at leverich canyon. And.... Why I carry a side arm while riding here

Ok, that makes sense. We tend not to have that problem with our bears, they're shy for the most part.

Worst threat we might have to deal with would be HillyBilly meth heads and dirty hippies. But neither of those are capable of running down a mountain biker.

We have those too. With what I do for a living they usually end recognizing me as well. I think the same rules apply to the meth heads though, most just run, it's the strange few that stand their ground you gotta worry about!!!
