Expect cardiac patients to be easier to pick out in the future.

Well joy my family has a history of thickening of the heart walls. Looks like I'm going to be taking that when I'm old hahahaha

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but wasn't Viagra originally developed as a heart drug, and it's "side effects" discovered after development, and they decided to market it as a get-hard drug?

rumor is that when they did the final round of clinical trials, it included women and men - the people running the studies were not getting the results they hoped for so they quit the study. but the men who got the meds didn't want to give them back! so they looked at other options for the drug...

synopsis for the lazy: in mouse models viagra seems to halt and reverse thickening of the heart walls. this is significant because a) it was unexpected, b) viagra is in widespread use, pardon the pun :D, and c) thickening and expansion of the heart is a major cause of heart failure and is very common in the western world.

yes. one downside is that many patients who could benefit from this are taking other meds that are on the "no-no, not good idea to combine useage with viagra" list.

combined with some other common cardiac meds, it can create a very pronounced/drastic decrease in blood pressure.

ahem. 'cause, you know, all that blood is rushin off to one particular anatomical area......

What a wonderful drug! It helps your heart stay healthy structurally and also promotes strengthening it with 'extended' aerobic activity. What better to get your heart pumping than prolonged humping?

"Come on baby- I'm doing this for US! I don't want to leave you and our wonderful life together prematurely, so we need to work hard everyday to increase my vascular health."

it does *not* compare to the other activity in terms of overall enjoyment.

i've never had a day of skiing that was even close.
