I just kinda scanned that but it sounded like the trails are going to go bye bye due to houseing?

people think not skidding on a trail 'protects' it? I guess it does, until the bulldozers come in......

I really believe, from personal experience, that any trail that isn't on government land, is temporary.

even trails on govt land are temp. look at cypress...there is a land swap happening giving ownership of the land that is currently bp/dwv land over to a developer so anything at or below 1200' will be turned into housing...

i find it ironic since they are so concerned about the damage biking is doing to the hillside, yet they are going to develop? HA! all the easy/lower trails will be gone...atleast they are putting a bike park in for this summer though.

i know that isnt seattle, washington, or even the us...but it was the first example that came to mind :)
