Sam Hill stormed his way to the top of the Mont-Sainte-Anne downhill podium, taking his first win since 2009. The Australian, despite qualifying sixth, managed to hold onto the hotseat and take a 1.24 second lead over the rest of the field. Manon Carpenter tamed the technical track and took first place for the women, leaving Rachel Atherton and Emmeline Ragot sitting in second and third.
