Agreed, megaman has always been a fan favorite....I'd love to see MegaMan come back as a 3rd person style game like was done for Zelda and Mario.
I was just playing MM5 at a friends place the other night. I forgot how freaking hard that game is!Agreed, megaman has always been a fan favorite....
I've heard rumors about both of these. But Idk if I'd pony up for the newer PS3. Would you? Granted you've had yours since launch.Netflix on PS3 better happen. and a slimmer/cheaper/less power consuming PS3 would be nice (with the new smaller Cell processor)
the netflix rumors are somewhat new, but the new, slimmer, less power hungry PS3 rumors have been going on for over two years now...especially now that the Cell processor has gone down in size two times already in as many yearsI've heard rumors about both of these. Agreed,E3 is all about consoles, I play PC (and some Wii). No PC, no care.
I like my PS3 for watching blu-ray movies (and playing games too) on a 61" tv with 7.1 surround sound. Yea, a PC could do it too, but when I play games and watch movies I don't wanna deal with Windows. And its simple enough that my gf can use it too.Agreed,
No PC, no good (Wii excpetion).
See, my BluRay player AND my DLink DSM 520 combined was half the price of a PS3 and compared to my PC, console games look like ass on my 50" plasma.I like my PS3 for watching blu-ray movies (and playing games too) on a 61" tv with 7.1 surround sound. in regards to the netflix on 360... its not as simple as just clicking on the stream to watch it from what I understand. This may have changed. My brother in law does it and he said it was kind of a PITA at first.Wow...360 is becoming a one stop shop. You will be able to add movies to your nextflicks que right from the 360, last.fm application, and facebook! More reason for people to never leave the house. How will sony counter?
Price of a ps3 when? No offense, but $200 doesn't really buy that great of a blu-ray player.See, my BluRay player AND my DLink DSM 520 combined was half the price of a PS3 and compared to my PC, console games look like ass on my 50" plasma.
If I play the PC version of a game on my TV compared to a console, the difference is night and day. And the Media Lounge is idiot proof.
I guess, my Panasonic DMP-BD35 seems to do a pretty good job and was less than $200. I has gotten great reviews and I have no complaints. My DLink was $100 after rebate. So $300 seems to serve me quite well.Price of a ps3 when? No offense, but $200 doesn't really buy that great of a blu-ray player.
edit: and that still doesn't include the cost of the PC.
Tru dat. The only computer I have right now is my macbook. I have no real need for a PC at home, but once I get a bigger place I've been considering building up a streaming media server. For personal stuff tho, my next computer is just gonna be a netbook.I guess, my Panasonic DMP-BD35 seems to do a pretty good job and was less than $200. If ALL my pc did was play games, then I would agree, but since I do a lot more work than play, it's not much of an issue.
I have a netbook for most of my stuff, but writing papers for school is a pain on an 80% keyboard. The DLink is awesome and for $100, I am way happy. I bought a slave drive on sale at Frys for $80 (160GB SATA) and all it does is house my media. My desktop is upstairs and my TV is downstairs, so the wireless works perfect.Tru dat. Not to mention that the movie selection BLOWS!in regards to the netflix on 360... its not as simple as just clicking on the stream to watch it from what I understand. This may have changed. My brother in law does it and he said it was kind of a PITA at first.
That's with the streaming content in general, it's not an issue specific to the 360. While the streaming library is increasing fairly regularly, its still only a fraction of their overall library. Not to mention that the movie selection BLOWS!
Or at least it did when I looked last, I was super-disappointed...
On Demand selection still sucks...Not to mention that the movie selection BLOWS!

Yeah and I'm on my 5th red ring of death. I could give a crap about anything new that they introduce before they figure out how to fix that.Wow...360 is becoming a one stop shop... etc, etc.
And yet they make a ton of money...On Demand selection still sucks...
The NetFlix streaming choices for computer are about 1,000% better, there are a TON of newer/hotter movies that you can watch instantly. Go to the 360, and the choices are in the sh!tter. That's with the streaming content in general, it's not an issue specific to the 360. Seriously....who purchases porn online anymore???And yet they make a ton of money...
Obviously you aren't looking at the number of adult content offerings on todays OnDemand system. Porn makes up over 70% of OnDemand sales.
<edit> An interesting factoid for you:
The average viewing time for purchased OnDemand content is 7 minutes. How many people have watched only 7 minutes of a movie that isn't porn?
Doesn't the 360 use the same queue as the PC? My Media Lounge logs into my netflix account and it's the exact same. The NetFlix streaming choices for computer are about 1,000% better, there are a TON of newer/hotter movies that you can watch instantly. Best one I found on 360: Strange Brew.
Unless you like mid-90s low-budget craptastic sci-fi movies about killer alligators or something, you're SOL.
Not online, OnDemand through your cable provider to watch on your TV.Seriously....who purchases porn online anymore???
That reminds me, Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, should be out on DVD now!!!Unless you like mid-90s low-budget craptastic sci-fi movies about killer alligators or something, you're SOL.

Man, that sucks. I can sit on the couch with my netbook, update my queue, then stream them with my DLink on my TV. Seems to work well enough.No. There are only a percentage of Instant Queue movies that can be viewed on the 360.
I've watched a bunch of entertaining stuff with the 360 queue. Wanted, Wall-E, LOTR, 21, etc. I like it. It's fun. And it's not that much of a PITA.
Nothing could ever hold a candle to MXP: Most Xtreme Primate. That reminds me, Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, should be out on DVD now!!!
