Vino needs to chill and take the long view in a race like the tour. It seems like all he does is attack and burn himself out.

So far I agree with you, but since coming into top form he has never had the support needed to win the race, so to get any results at all he needed to attack. And he still came in fifth. Assuming he can hold back until he really needs an explosive attack, he will be a contender next year.
