hey. so ive a virus or something is on my computer that i cant get rid of. i dont tihnk its been on my computer long but i looked it up and i guess it crashes the computer and all that stuff. haha. as you can tell im not exactly good with computers and know my way around them. anyways its called/named, Generic PuP.x, anyone ever heard of it or no anything about it. any info would be great.

Most any decent virus scan software will kill this bug.

well, like i said ik next to nothing about computers or how they work. i do know we have mcafee. ik thats what we used to pick up the virus and tried using to get rid of it.

download the free version of Malwarebytes...

www.malwarebytes.org

and run a full system scan after installing.... once done click on Show Results on the right, on the next screen select "Delete Selected"....

reboot and you will be fine...
