Hey,
I'm about to buy a Vivid Air shock for my Cove Shocker DH, but I need to know if I need low, mid or high compression.
I weigh about 70kg (with all my gear).
Cheers,
Greg

Medium or light... Sorry, Low or Mid would be my opinion. Also depends on your setup style. Some like lower compression, higher spring, some the opposite.

It is an 8in bike (about) with a 3in stroke shock (from what I can tell), so you have a decent leverage ratio (under 3:1) so again, mid or low IMO.

thanks!
Yeah, I'm running a 400 pounds spring in my Fox DHX right now with nearly no compression, so I guess I'll go for the low compression!

Is it one of the new 2011 shockers? If it is i wouldn't mind knowing which one you end up getting and how it performs.

No, it's the old version. I got some offset bushings though, so the geometry is about the same as the new model.
The guys from Cove told me, that the Vivid Air performs very well with the Shocker!
