i'm hoping to pick up a vivid for my glory 0 - the shock size is 9"x2.75" bti doesn't have any in stock, i keep waiting for them, and they keep not appearing. does anybody know when they'll be getting in, or who i can get one from? I am a shop employee, so i'm hoping to not have to buy at retail, but i will if I need to - if anybody knows anywhere in the US I can get one, i'm all ears!

also i'm not totally sold on the vivid over something cheaper and lighter such as an evolver ISX, so feel free to try and convince me to get an air shock.

I haven't heard about any other sizes than the ones currently offered. I'd think they'd offer the other tunes available (A, C) before they add more sizes.

the glory 0 uses 8.75 x 2.75, are you looking to sell the stock shock? do you have the rocco or the fox??
not trying to be a dick here, but i've measured the i2i on this about 8 times. i'm not so certain i'd be willing to stake my own life on the fact you're wrong, but i'd be willing to stake most other peoples lives on the fact that you're wrong! :brows:

but seriously, if you really have any doubt i can post up some pictures tomorrow with a tape measure next to the shock eyelets and you can see for yourself. For the sake of this thread though, humor me and assume i might have measured the i2i! :)

edit: for the sake of curiosity, howbout the possibility of putting an 8.75 x 2.75 shock on there? is tire clearance with the seattube the only issue I have to worry about? I know it should slack out the bike slightly and lower the BB, but since i'm want to do that, its not my primary concern. I'm more concerned with tire hitting the seattube and screwing up the geometry in such a way as to make the linkage not work as well.

I'm also thinking about putting a Vidid on my Glory but its the DH version. Do I get the mounting hardware from Rock Shox or from Giant? I'm assuming I just tell them what frame its going on when I order it and they will supply the required hardware but I could be wrong?
