VLC Flickers in fullscreen

VLC's started flickering in fullscreen after I updated my video card driver. Any ideas why?

My system:

Lenovo T61
XP Pro
Nvidia Quadros NVS 140M
3GB ram

Tried simple stuff like unchecking "skip frames" etc. Nothing.

Driver clean your system to wipe out all your driver files and reinstall only the newest driver. You may have to forget about the newest and go back to your old driver. You don't normally need to upgrade drivers unless you have newly released hardware/program that it is targeting for a boost.
