Von Cooper Productions Joins the Eastern States Cup

Eastern States Cup downhill mountain bike race series announced today that Voncooper Productions has signed-on to produce the POC video of the week for the Eastern States Cup series for the 2011 season. The announcement comes as the series prepares for first race season at Vermont's Mount Snow on June 4th and 5th.


Willem Cooper

Voncooper Productions of the founded by Willem Cooper in 2006 is based in Newport, Rhode Island. Cooper races and manages the newly formed Rocky Mountain East race team. Voncooper Productions provides video production for business, weddings and, “anything else that may need video,” says Cooper.

Willem is well known for his coverage of the East Coast Gravity scene. His videos are more than pretty pictures, they’re edited so they tell the story of the race weekend.

POC is a Swedish company, built on a strong mission; to do everything we can to possibly save lives and to reduce consequences of accidents, for gravity sports athletes, by developing and renewing what personal protection is all about.

The Eastern States Cup Series is a USA Cycling Regional Championship Series and will feature three USA Cycling State Championships through the summer. Six premier East Coast venues will host ESC races this summer. Mount Snow and Killington’s races will count for the Vermont State Championships. Pat’s Peak and Attitash will count for the New Hampshire. While Whiteface and Plattekill will combine results for the New York State Championships.
