I just did a LT threshold test i did a 10 min warm up than 30min as hard as all hell and recorded the last 20min my LT threshold is now 184BPM which is 90% of my max heart rate if you use 220-age. When i finish racing last year my LT was 168BPM
Good job, that is quite the improvement. I decided to do the same test today and got 173, or 90% for my age. Any idea how accurate this test is? Is 90% any good? I have been training hard but failed to do any benchmarking at the start. I guess I will just continue to bust ass and see how I do.
