Gods and Generals was terrible.

edit: Which was surprising given the all-star cast and subject matter. I thought it would be great, but I was wrong.

Ha.

Worst movie I have ever actually sat through. I wanted to personally shoot the indian dude so the movie would end.
That guy is on Law and Order now. Another show ruined.

Also, Flags of Our Fathers with that guy was freaking awful.

Wasn't that the movie with Jon Voight where they show some brotherly love in the forest?
I don't remember any brotherly love, but it's been about 10 years since I've seen it.

I remember: depressed steel-town, Vietnam, POW, an extravagant wedding scene, Russian roulette...

Oh, never mind. I was thinking about Deliverance.

I really like that A Bridge Too Far was the first movie offered up. Robert Redford played the part of my Grandfather T. Moffatt Burriss. The famous line "Paratroopers don't stop for tea" came straight from the old man's lips to a British officer while my grandfather had his sidearm drawn.

I have been to most of the places that the movie was filmed at and it is really cool to see everything and have my granddad there to recount everything and be amazed how vividly he remembers it even at 95. He even jumped out of the plane 3 years ago for the re-enactment!!

It is a great flick.

That is so awesome. You must be proud of your grand dad's legacy.
