I think Putin has gone a little cray cray but then again we all know a quick war rallies up the support on the home front.

I am still fighting my personal war against a stubborn cold. First line of defense this morning is coffee and water.

It's still yesterday over here. Today was all about threading the needle with the steel for the bridge. Curvy 1/8th of a mile in the woods with a 26ft piece of steel? Sure thing. Did the gravel guy bump the concrete abutment and move it in 5/8"? Yup he did. Good thing I brought a cutting torch.

What is this bridge you are building? Will you boost off the bridge?

Rocked up early at work today, boss drive past and yells- "Shirt's inside out!"

Hahaha, 'twas the theme for the day, everything went bass-ackwards.

Screw mirrors, people will let you know that you look like shit.

Up and running! Latté was consumed, now putting a pair of bread in the oven, regular and cheese bread experiment.

Later first coat of prime in the bedroom and will try to get out on the bike.

Putin (Poutine in French) is ruining poutine.

Morning Monkeys.

Fat Tire called yesterday to laugh at my pain. Fox still might be an option, but it sounds like the fork was way worse than lead to believe at time of purchase. Unfortunately there aren't a ton of options, so we will see. I have spent more money than I should have at this point, so spending more seems like the best thing to do.

It also kinda snowed last night and got flurries on the walkies this morning. Lord knows it's cold enough, brrrr.

ugh moar war. I was excited that we were finally done in afghanistan

rode my bike yesterday, 35.5mi. That's the longest I've been on. Rode it on my shrek 1000 too, rather than my fancy aero bike. Surprisingly sprightly little beast, and the wheels rolled phenomenally. Made things a little better, though the multi-directional headwind sucked in the last 5 mi. Legs are dead.

I have always found it a little disturbing (perhaps the wrong word), that a platform like Twitter is used as the voice for something like a war, political disputes, law enforcement news etc etc. Then again, I've never attempted to use Twitter, so...maybe my point of view is invalid.

Work day. Hoping for a slow mellow day.

Got first panicked call yesterday. Individual is one who generally lives scared, so not surprised. Guy is 40 and has >$250k sitting in cash at a bank, another $150k in gold and silver, a whole bunch of pensions, with only $25k invested. He called freaking about the $25k. Sometimes you just can't keep people from doing things that are bad for themselves.

I ordered the Reba for Haley's bike in October and it should be here next month. RS sold out the entire retail order in November and last I checked they were not doing another one for 6 months. If you can get a fork, good luck.

War war, endless wars. My heart goes out to the millions of innocent people who will be affected by this.

In other news, @eric strt6, succesfully changed my fuel filters yesterday. Small diesel bath, but whats new. Cap came off the filter housing without detonating, but there's always a few moments before that first turn where you think this is the time, it's gonna blow.

I'm looking for a straight tube 26" with 160+mm, not something on a shelf somewhere.
