I was looking at trail bikes the other day and came across an '03 Iron Horse Hollowpoint. I know a bunch of monkeys got these when the new DW link frames came out and they only made them a little while, but how are they holding up? You still like it?

It looks like it would fit the needs I have for a trail bike. I recall the tire hit the seat tube or something? Where there any other issues? I am looking for something to ride with the wife, maybe do some fast single track, nothing too rough.

If I remember correctly, it was the lateral brace on the seat stays that hit the seat tube under certain circumstances. IH updated the links and reduced the travel by like 1/4" to solve the problem. At the time, IH was giving out the 04 links for free. I might have some at home, but I don't knwo for sure - haven't looked at them in a long time.
