Wondering if anyone here is doing the Hill Climb August 28 out at Crystal Mountain. Its basically the opposite of downhill, its how fast you can climb 1500 feet over six miles on the Crystal Mountain highway. Since the race season was over I was looking for something to fill the gap between now and the last xc race at Winthrop. Registration is still open-they usually have between 120-150 racers and probably a few are xcers with their road bikes. I am dusting off the road bike, heck it will feel like learning to ride all over again.
