I hate these kinds of shows. actually, I hate tv but do spend a ton of time in front of ours. usually spacing off into space or watching the food network.

but for some reason I came across this show with this really large fat lady bitching about not being able to buy a giant bag of chips to some uptight looking guy. probably a morman or something. :rolleyes:


I came into the show 20 minutes in or so but somehow had to watch the rest of it. I laughed when the dad said he was suprised his kids didn't show restraint when offered junk food. ahahahahahaha, dumb ass.

one side was a VERY uptight family and the other side was a bunch of fattys. both sides suck but I suck more for watching.... :nuts: :nuts:

I unfortunetely watched it as well, but the girl wanted to watch. The whole show was just so stupid but funny. The best part was the pinanata part.

did you see the start of the show? i'm guessing they showed how cuntrolling the one family was? the dad was getting great pleasure from letting the candy out when fatty was yelling "stop it!..." haha.

talk about freakin dumb. the dad needed to remove the stick from his arse. I think he lets the wife hump him with a strap on. :p

I think it's called Wife Swap. it was on the local chanel 4 here. I think that is ABC...?

It is right up your alley. infact, I kind of got a sense of why you/one watches these shows last night. *kills self....

typically, I watch the cooking channel and discovery (I like the stuff the guys build but can't STAND the drama on the chopper/car shows. but I like alot of the other programming on that channel as well.) I watch south park, simpsons and try to watch headbangers ball but usually end up turning it to something else.

I can't get into the history channel usually though. mostly I just lay on the couch, too hung over to move. :evil:

I liked Seinfeld. The writing was good. The characters were funny. Not always, but fairly frequently. None of 'em could hold a candle to Cheers, though.

Oh seinfeld was hysterical, don't get me wrong...what I'm trying to say is...so what if people watch reality tv...its no different than parking your ass in front of the tv watching any other show...it cracks me up how people get all uppity about tv...it's ENTERTAINMENT...like watching a movie......reading a book or a magazine...going to a concert or the theater...it's friggin entertainment and you're (not YOU personally, just a generalization) are no better than anyone else because you avoid reality tv...it's funny...whether its staged or not...it's damn funny...well...some of it is...

No worse than Seinfeld???? your'e right, watching stupid people bitch and whine at each other about nothing is definately no worse than watching intelligent humor and sarcasm that actaully has thought put into it. There are alot of crappy sitcoms, but dont be bashin on Seinfeld.

Reality shows are the worst thing that has happened to TV, EVER. We as americans are mocking our own stupidity and ignorance, anyone who thinks that the pathetic lives of the morons they put on TV are funny, are morons themselves.

Yea the tight-ass family was just weird. They made them do their chores when they woke up and were vegeterians.
