Anyone use them?

I am thinking about commuting in them. Because it is not too cold here, I can deal with wet feet, but I want to avoid soggy gear.

I have couple pairs of Gore-Tex (XCR) trail running shoes... They keep my feet dry and cool. Im not sure if I would like them for riding, to much flex in the soles.

I noticed Salomon in a search of rei.com. I bought a pair of hiking boots from them and I am satisfied.

What would be perfect is lightweight waterproof uppers and thin stiff sole. But I can deal without a very stiff sole, otherwise, I would just ride my Sidis.

I have a pair of EMS Aqualungs. They're not waterproof, but amphibious. My buddy uses the Saloman Amphibions. Same idea. really really light, and the walls are all mesh so you can run through water and it just drains out.
