Obama is white, and Christian. Just not white or Christian enough. I would love to know how large the stoney demographic was in this election. By that I mean people who are fairly conservative fiscally, more liberal socially and are exposed to thoughts outside of the right wing bubble. I can't help but think the lack of workable fiscal plan along with the hard right turn on social issues drove away a measurable chunk of the electorate.
