So let's share our 12 grain bread like brothers and sisters and let the nutrition envelope our hatred.

Last weekend of non-riding for me, i've followed a strict 12 grain bread diet which should heal my broken bones.

Gettin stoked to gettin back on a bike...........

LA got me this whole grain bread (i dont know how many grains) this week & the stuff rocks. it is so hearty & delicious & has 100 calories a slice & a ton of carbs.....great for pre-ride eggs b toast or samiches.

You sure do heal quick....or so it seems. I stub my two & I am out for a week.\

EDIT-a new sig too. mucho gracias

Milton's bread. There is no other. It's actually a reason I want to keep living in Southern California. People who leave San Diego will have friends continue to ship them loaves on a regular basis.

Monk's 100% Stone Ground Whole Wheat Bread kicks ass. I don't think it has 12 grains though. But it is definitely peace worthy.

I support anarchy and violence. I eat and will continue to eat crappy wonder bread purchased at Walmart.

I've been buying my bread at target lately, anybody else notice how their prices on the few things they carry are way better than most grocery stores and the lines are shorter. Wal-Mart hasn't gotten much of my business because the store is always in shambles and the employees can't spell their own name correctly let alone be helpful.

Do they have it in the PacNw??? I'm really hoping to move to Seattle with my next job! (that is, after 6-8 months of waiting to actually be hired and another 6 months of training in Georgia and DC...)

Sorry, I'm Canadian ..sorry...
Funny thing, almost every bikey forum I've been on this week has a topic similar to this. Though the others have turned into "why you got flamed" topics versus our 12 grain bread hyjack. On topic, I'm a fan of white bread.

My girlfriend has Celiac's disease. She can't even eat bread. (Luckily, she's not Catholic anymore, cuz they're demanding that Celiacs eat a wheat-based host for communion...)

So, I urge you to all stop your petty squabbling and accept one another's loaves as your own. Especially because she can't drink Guiness anymore either.

I am sorry for your GF's loss. However, you have brought up a very important subject... beer.

GASP! Noooooooooo! Can a human even survive without Guinness?

I feel her pain. My broken leg seems so trivial now. (I pulled a Skookum, crack! SNAP!) I will be drinking EXTRA Guinness tonight just for her.

12 grain shmelve grain. To many good things in it. I want bread to soak some sauce up with. Nothing can relieve your plate like some good old Italian Torpedo bread. You can make a submarine sandwich out of it, rip a hunk off and just eat it, grill it, beat your family with it, whatever. Just flour, water, a little lard, sugar, salt, and some yeast. I am lucky we have good bakeries here. Otherwise I would have to move. This here loave is artisitically created at Martusciellos. Mmmm real bread......jdcamb
