our baby bike club just got a $2200 tool grant from REI! I am so stoked. MinorThreat helped me put it together. We'll be buying gps, software, mcloeds, BOB hauler for tools, cordless drills, signs and more.
We were nominated under a conservation grant for the trailwork our group has been doing. This is really exciting because our club is brand new, only been around for 1.5 years.

just had to share.

that's pretty darn cool.

building trails is its own reward.
but when you get financial assistance, it's even nicer.

baby bike club ?
for little rippers ?

only in existence for 1.5 years with 30 members. That's "baby" compared to many of the bike clubs out there.

i had a fleeting vision of a line of little kids rippin it up on singletrack.
all clad in club jerseys.

the age of your club matters not.
it's the results that count.

can i recommend bosch cordless drills.
they cost a little more, but the quality and durability is worth it.
the batteries have good torque right up until the runout of charge.

nylon handled mattocks and the higher quality shovels and such are definately worth the few extra $$$.
if ya'll haven't already come to that conclusion.
