It would seem that another bike related website... let's call it "Bicyclette Rose" appears to be blocked here in Senegal. WTF?

I've managed to access it via hidemyass.com, but this is a bit of a pain.

Why/how does this happen? What would be the best way to circumnavigate this little wrinkle? As you may have sensed, my knowledge of the inner workings of the intertubes is limited.
