So I'm working on this website.
I was thinking that for many of the pages, it would just be one image with all the text and pictures incorporated into it.
As the coder, this simplifies making the site a whole lot.
For the reader, would you prefer that the site has images and actual, highlightable text, or does it make a difference?
I recall that Kink Bikes, for example, did the full-image format at one point. It seems to have both aesthetic and HTML-simplifying benefits, but then again it's not highlightable or resizable.
What do you think?

Towing the party line.
That is pretty much the worst idea, for many reasons.

-Text as part of an image is generally harder to read
-users are stuck with one font size
-it isn't accessible to audio readers for the visusaly impaired
-imagemaps suck
-it sucks for anything related to search engines
-it is not searcheable in page
-it is hard to update (tedious)
