This is a X-post that Derek started in the PNW forum. Universe and I tied the knot on July 10th!! A few people asked me to post my wedding pics, so I thought the Lounge was a good place. Also, I wanted to show off our wedding cake (my bike related pic) :)

Derek came all the way up to Vancouver Island, British Columbia, to photograph our wedding and did a fantastic job!!! Here are a few of my favourites:

yey! congratulations. i wanted a cake like that for my wedding but then we didnt have a cake so that plan got cancelled. you two look fantastic. that dress is gorgeous.congrats again.

Congradulations!

You're a great looking woman and that pic in the water is great. I think the umbrella makes it!

The cake was a regular sponge cake, but the top and bottom layers were vanilla, and the middle was chocolate. (we both like different flavours). It was very tasty. :D

Thanks for all the congrats, everyone!!! It was indeed a fabulous day!! Finally the planning is over, and my summer is free to ride my bike. :thumb:

congrats again- but it has inspired sara to kick our wedding planning into higher gear. thanks a lot :p Oh and we saw a huge black bear in the ROAD on the way back down!! It was amazing. By the time we pulled over and I got the camera out though, it went just over a little hill on the side of the road. I wanted to get out and take pics but sara wouldnt let me out of the car. I think I might come back up there by myself and hunt down some wildlife with my camera. Its beautiful up there.

hahaha...yeah, your life will be consumed from now till the wedding. Just learn how to nod and say "whatever you like dear", and things will go much smoother. :p

I'm glad you and Sara were able to get a bit of a vacation coming up. I was ready to kill by the end of all the posing, I was so exhusted. But the pics were definitely worth the pain.....even stepping on dead fish on the beach. :D

I didn't completely disappear. I would check in daily and read a few threads, but I admit I've been doing most of my posting in wedding forums. Now that my wedding is over and my new bike will be here within a week, I'm stoked to ride..so I'll be around a lot more.

It ain't all good, and that's for sure.
