We had a kick ass time, the only part that sucked was coming home. We got to Vegas just in time for Happy Hour with my parents at The Pink Taco in the Hard Rock the day before "the big day". We had fun, ate too much & drank too much but we just endured a hell of a drive & finally got our bikes past Hard Rock security (we were like "do we really look like we would ride them through the casino?"...the answer is yes! ) so it was just what we needed. The groom, bride, & my dad.
We woke up early to rendezvous in Boulder City....at Taco Bell.
La, her sister & best friend.
Now for the mushy part. We said our "I do's" at the top of Bootleg Canyon & couldnt have asked for a more perfect day for a wedding. We knew we wanted to get married outside & the fact that some of the best trails in the world are there was the icing on the cake.
After some bubbly, posing for photos, getting pelted with bird seed, we got suited up, getting ready to go down.
ME!
By this time it was over 100 degrees so we took one one run, Armegeddon to Snakeback to mas cervezas & dirt jumps at the bottom!!!!!!
We got to the bottom & of course our parents were freaking out because they didnt know you could ride a bike down such gruesome terrain & gruesome is an understatement. It was tough but fun. After our parents left we chilled with La's friend Sage, mas Sols, & some diggity & I played on the dirt jumps unitl it got up to 104. Next stop the pool at the Hard Rock....the best pool in Vegas & maybe the world. It was so awesome. I am dying to go back to the HR. We also saw the guys from Blink 182 hanging out. (i didnt know who they were )
If you ever wonder why we are such dorks......it runs in the Fam.
After drinking all day by the pool it was time to celebrate at Nobu for a kick ass dinner. It was everything we expected & then some.
It couldnt have been a better time. Thanks for letting us relive it in cyber space.
more pics coming of Vegas, Zion, Moab, & Keystone.
Rock n Roll will never die.
