I would rather take LA...

when I went last year the day after xmas, I stayed for 4 days. I saw 3 or 4 cars flipped on the free way in that span of time. a lot of the drivers didn't even seem phased by it. business as usual?

Seriously people just dgf there. Holy crap I am glad I was only there one night.

My bicycle was ridden up to an altitude of 9600ft, which was nice and cool compared to the 90F at home earlier today.

Definitely need a few more visits to clear some more of the sections heading uphill on the Bergen Peak Trail, I can see that being fun on the way down too.

Rode with some folks from work, had a beer with them and then made it up to the regular Wednesday night group just in time for the bacon burgers.

Most excellent post work 20 mile ride 92* when I started 80 when I finished. Over 1500' of climbing. I had Barn Owls soar 20 feet over head at dusk. Saw a few red tailed hawks and a Red Shouldered Hawk hunting in the fading light. Had a doe run off the bike path into a vineyard and saw a Gopher snake in the middle of the road ( I put him into the bushes and safety)
