Hello,

we get several demands for the weight of the Mr. Dirt Gizmo.
People think they are pretty heavy because they can definitely take a lot,
but they are pretty lightweight ;)

Weight Mr. Dirt Gizmo DS (36-40t): 372 grammes
Weight Mr. Dirt Gizmo DH (42-46t): 475 grammes

(add 30 grammes for ISCG mounting plate & hardware, included in delivery)

All Bashguards of the DH & DS-Series have the same weight so the specifications above are valid for Compact-, Standard and 4-arm Gizmos.

If you have any questions please let me know!

Cheers
Fritz @ PokerMS

Yeah I heard that they are great and that Bob (I think that's the name of the guy who owns the company) will repair and warranty the guards. I might get one myself if I brake my current one.
I wish he was still making forks too.

Howcome the order section of mrdirt.com is down? Did he stop making them or something like that?

how do they run? i heard that they're loud. but i heard from other people who swear by them.

Actually I may not be the right person to answer these questions since we are the german distributor for mr. dirt.

but i can give you some facts:
our team and co.-team riders (www.pokerms.de -> team) are driving the mr. dirt for seasons with zero problems. Even in muddy conditions, once mounted you will be happy for a long time!

@loudness: s.th. especially in the beginning the mr. dirt is a little bit louder than other guides. but s.th. you only have to insert a spacer or two to stop the noise. if you take some minutes and ride it two or three times to get the plastics in line the gizmo is really quiet.
