We're kicking off the 2024 Secret Santa! Exchange gifts with other monkeys - from beer and snacks, to bike gear, to custom machined holiday decorations and tools by our more talented members, there's something for everyone.
I would think it would be ridable, but you might have a hard time staying in a straight line. It looks cool, but I'm more for function any day.
Thanks for the link!
<edit> The '57 Chevy bike that Ness built is a lot like the '59 Caddy bike my brother build a while ago, only way more over the top (Ness style). I wish I had some pictures of it.
That is a radial engine - used in propeller airplanes. (Looks like) 8 cylinders arranged around one crankshaft in the middle. I'm very curious if that's rideable at all. (although I don't see why it wouldn't be.)
the 'whole thing' doesn't rotate. But yeah, torque, hmm... torque steer in a four wheeled, FWD car is bad enough. Actually *sitting* on that thing when you rev it and dump the clutch would be terrifying.
My mother has a 1936 Indian Scout and my father has a 48 Indian Cheif
 Dad offered to let me ride his Cheif and I told him "No thanks, if I dumped it I would never forgive myself" It is original, non-restored beautiful machine. But the Foot clutch and tank shifter scare me. Never mind the left side gas and right side spark retard. I would so dropped that bike at a light. lol
Give me modern day controls and I would consider it.
