Here is quote of B. Wellens after the CX World Champs:

"Even though I had the best legs of the season I couldn't do much more than what I did. The jersey went to the wrong person, he shouldn't have won it even though he's a teammate. He deserves to be on the podium but the other guys don't,"

I know he is not the most popular guy out there in Belgium, but that is just mean to his Fidea teammate and for the other guys on the podium...:disgust1:

I don't really understand how he could say that the jersey went to the wrong person (Vervecken), but that he somehow deserved the jersey as well. In any case, I find Wellens' frustration to be understandable, but his conclusions to be annoying. He didn't cross the line first- therefore, he does not deserve to win. He had bad luck. That's racing.
