For those of you that know him, I'm sure you'll appreciate an update. For those of you that don't, do a search, it'll bring you up to speed...

After Steve's injury, many of his friends (myself included) were very concerned about how Steve would recover. Well, I'm not sure why I ever doubted him.

Just after Interbike (so under 10 days after surgery) I was leaving my accounting class and unlocking my bike. I get a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and it's Steve, walking just fine. I was thoroughly blown away.

It gets better. Last weekend he was riding my DH bike around the parking lot of a NCCA DH race...he'll be riding on dirt before I ever imagined...go here.

I gotta say, a positive outlook on a situation can make gobs of difference. Just something for anybody to remember when you get hurt. Due to all the thinking Steve is doing about riding, (visualization) I bet he'll be back faster and better than ever.

Steve fully reccomends you to pin it like its 1992.

PS. I stole his proto Push shock and put it on my Gemini....UN-FREAKIN-REAL

(keep in mind I have an Avy and swinger that also go on there..)

is that snow in there?

yep that was snow. That was even towards the bottom of the mountain, up higher when I got there that tuesday the upper part of the mountain was pretty well covered in white. They shoveled off most of the snow that was on the course and the great weather melted most of the rest of it by the weekend.

Im so psyched Steve is doing so well allready, thats awesome! Everyone there was pretty worried when we saw him laying there on course.

Steve was out at the Fix party yesterday. Spectating and wishing he was riding.. He said he has never been more motivated to ride a bike than he is right now. A little thug life snap of him :)
