I am getting back into MtBiking after a 2.5 yrs. Thanks to the army.
I live in Raleigh NC, I am looking for something in a 4 to 5 hour drive away to go camping and Mtbiking.(VA or WVA)
Any ideas?

Pisgah is probably much closer, then you've got Douthat, then pretty much anywhere in the GW forest. There are tons of trails West of Harrisoburg/Staunton all the way to WV. I'd suggest going to Shenandoah Bicycle Company in H'burg and getting some maps, and ask for suggestions on a good place for a base camp to ride out of.
