Had the pleasure of meeting one of Westy's friends and training partners this weekend. Report here.

Bob is inhuman. I think he is some kind of robot powered by a small nuclear fission reactor. Kills hardcore roadies on centuries riding a mountain bike and can clean the nastiest of technical sections on his XC race bike. Just a super talented dude, it seems 20 or so years ago he was also one badass skateboarder.

I recognized the orange Bike Stop jersey at the start of the race and asked him if he knew you. He said something about you being a total wuss for not going to the race with him. Actually I got the impression he doesn't like you much at all.


Since you know him I'm sure you realize I'm kidding...

That would explain why he kicks my ass so hard on the bike, that kind of punishment can only come from some deep seated hatred.
