Hi all, first of all sorry for my english as i am from Spain.

Well, i broke my actual Commencal Mini DH frame, so i want to go a step forward and get a properly DH bike.

I dont have a lot of money to expend on a bike, so i can only get a second hand bike from 2008-2009 aprox.

My options are these (im going to put the links to a spanish forum where the bikes being sold, i hope it is not a problem):

Iron Horse Sunday: http://www.foromtb.com/showthread.php/913979-IRON-HORSE-SUNDAY-(-1370-euros-negociables-)?highlight=sunday

Devinci Wilson: http://www.foromtb.com/showthread.php/926844-Devinci-Wilson-DH-Descenso?highlight=wilson

Giant Glory: http://www.foromtb.com/showthread.php/884501-Vendo____giant-GLORY-2008-con-montaje-de-alta-gama____1500€!!-regalos?highlight=glory

Specialized Demo: Only used 1 day http://www.foromtb.com/showthread.php/925325-Vendo-Demo-8-UN-DIA-DE-USO-Talla-M-REBAJA-1390€!!!!?highlight=demo or this 2010 http://www.foromtb.com/showthread.php/928337-Demo-8-2010-impecable?highlight=demo

All at the same price, i dont like the look of the glory but it should be a nice bike.

I need help!! I know that there are people who tried all this bikes, this is huge forum.

Thanks!!

De la Demo no me gusta que lleve eje de 135, porque cuando quiera cambiar de cuadro todos los nuevos llevan eje de 150 y voy a tener que conseguir un buje o rueda trasera.

I don't like the demo because it has a 135 rear axle, so when i could get a new frame i must get a new hub/rim as all new bikes use 12x150

the other bikes seem rather used.
you will probably need to replace quite a few parts in others, while you might only need a hew hub for the demo (if you replace the frame in the near future).

plus, its got good parts. the other bikes have basic/old forks, which will probably need to be replaced soon.

the fact is nearly new, means you will probably get more use out of the demo, before you need to spend some money to keep it running.
a well used 4 years old dh bike is kinda expensive to keep running in good shape.

Sunday given the choice, a couple places sell links, shafts, bearings and bolts...throw an angle set on there and it will rip...07-09 were 1 lb lighter than previous years and came with f7 linkage....05/06 had a different style 05 lower link was weird blue/black 06 had a red lower link. They got a little play in them which could be shimmed or new shaft. They had a fitment issues in 05 with different shocks but was corrected in 06, 05 basically fit 5th elements t or progressive can't remember which but if it had one of those you could send the shock to avalanche and have it dialed be as good as a new shock offered for a cheap price...

Aside of that I have had 05/06 and a 08 all rode the same all had angle sets installed and all ripped.....

Just options on the Sunday to help put but any bike not broken is better than a broken one so good luck...

Humm, thanks, but Spain is in Europe ;)

And Europe is a nice country, just ask George Bush.

I bought my Nicolai second hand because they have a 5yr transferable warranty, but from your list as much as I hate Specialized I'd go with that if the price is good. The wheels are already second hand what's wrong with picking up a second hand 150mm wheel if you ever need it?
