When I see "hateful" I read it as "hate speech".

When making fun of autistic kids is hate speech, I don't want to be American anymore...

People are WAY too sensitive these days! It's this guy's job to be controversial and ruffle feathers. Besides I know for a fact that kids these days do not get the disciplining they sometimes need. Not saying I know anything about autism or have any statistics telling me 99% of them are faking it. But I do know how kids can be. To anyone on this forum who has a special needs kid, I am not some cold hearted SOB. I just want to make a point that people get all hyped up over nothing, just brush it off and get on with you life.

I'm putting on my flak vest now........:panic:

Then how come people I know who were just huge assholes 10 years ago walk around now telling everyone they have Asperger's? It reminds me of a 300 pound person shoveling 6000 calories a day down their gullet telling everyone that they have a glandular problem.

Asperger's can really range from extreme to mild, some people are just "off", as in they don't understand social interaction well to borderline autism.

if that person has autism, yes. If it is Asperger's, it depends on how serious it is.
