Been really getting into the Talking Heads lately. Have always known their stuff but it was a decade or two before my time. Excellent stuff.
I dug into them a few weeks ago myself. I've always known some of the popular stuff and a few deeper cuts, but it was great to really listen to a larger portion of their work. Really, really good stuff.
This morning I listened to Thelonius Monk's "underground" in its entirety. I've been exploring classic mid century jazz the past week or so.

Used to love Talking Heads, then I read an interview with Tina in which she completely slagged on David Byrne, and now I just cant get into their stuff anymore. Weird reaction on my part...
I've been thinking I should do the same with all my old hardcore records. Hard to capture how cool colored vinyl is in digital format though...
