Were Royel Otis good?
I don't mind 'em.
They were fantastic, actually. Sounded great, good energy, but they are a little hard to understand between songs due to the accent and mumbling. A great set and would see them again for sure, even on a Sunday night. It was at the Crystal Ballroom which is an awesome venue, too.
The giant bug was covered up before the set.
This came on the radio today with no language warning-
If you hate the full rough Aussie accent this is most certainly not for you .
Got email today about this band (thefader). Their publicist must be doing a good job.
Was not aware of Sumo.
It's one of my favorite bands. I've posted some their songs her before.
Also, Deadletter's sax sounds almost like Roberto Petinattto's (Sumo's sax player).
Great album.
I have been enjoying a bit of metal lately, it's thinking "Oooh this is nice, I wonder who it is?" and it's 'Aborted Fetus' or something else equally cheery.
