Today was an eye-opening (and tough) day. I had issues arise with people, with my job, my Tivo and TV, and my car. It made me think that there are a lot of things that cause me problems that might actually not be very important.

So what is it that you can't live without? What would you need or what would you pay for regardless of cost?

Your family?
Your pets?
Your bike?
Your car?
Your television?
Your cell phone?
Your internet connection (and Ridemonkey)?
Drugs?
Beer?
A big sandwich?
A french maid?
Your job?

good toilet paper

i am 100% serious on that one. i would give up beer for a week if it meant that i could afford toilet paper that didn't feel like sandpaper.

I could live without all those things and essentially did a few years back for a couple of years.

But tell me about your day and all the 'issues' that caused such deep thought.

Damn, I should have included TP in the original post.

By the way, double-ply is a myth :)

I can't stand not having anything to do. I need to keep myself occupied at all times.

In terms of physical stuff, I could do alright without anything on that list. Life would be less fun though.

-my fam and close friends (includes the dog, etc)
-music
-my work/travel
-my testicles and accompanying equipment
-the realization that the world is only as small as you make it (every time i travel, i realize how much there is out there to see and experience)

all of the above are in no particular order

After some thought about this topic during my commute, I would have to say nothing.

There are things I would miss, some more than most. But there isn't anything I couldn't live without.

Hmmm, couldn't live without:

Breathing
A good poop on Sunday morning with the sports section
A really good cup of coffee
looking at new bikes
Buying bike parts from R464

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
Sappy answer -- Other than the basic necessities (O2, water, food)...my family & friends. I could live without anything else...I might not be a happy monkey, but I would be alive with the ones who matter most to me.

Reality -- family, friends, beer, bourbon, bikes, music

I would definitely have to say a bike. For the last 3 months I have no had one at all. And waiting for my new one to come is killing me, soft TP is also amazing!
