Re: topic, I came within a few inches of a catastrophic nosedive on the Boogie Nights hip last week. Just about nose-cased the exposed logs in the landing ramp.

oh shit. that would not be good times. it's a sizeable boost; i'm more often than not hitting that straightish, rather than hipping hard, out of fear of the case. pretty happy that BN exists, though. not many opportunities to keep the cobwebs off the jumping skills on the shore.
