Market futures are down almost 1.4%, making yesterday look like an overly euphoric dead cat bounce. We'll see when it actually opens...
Thinking about ripping down Haley's playground and putting up a more structurally sound structure with climbing walls and Ninja Warrior facilities. However I do want to build in the existing slide and ability to put up swings. Time to bust out CAD...

She popped out at 6:01. 5 lbs 11 oz. NICU for a few weeks it will be. Full head of hair.

Found out this morning that an uncle (who I’m not close to) passed from small cell carcinoma. Diagnosed less than three weeks ago. Life long smoker, not a healthy man.

It's getting down to the wire with our D day. I'm trying to figure out how much I can fit in the trailer. Decisions decisions. Sitting by the fire right now. Ho hum.
I wish I had enough vacation to just take this whole week off. It's pretty much dead around here. Add in exhausted kids from Santa day and it's even better.

suns out, its chilly and the freaking wind is howling. gusts of over 50mph in the hills and 35 in town. I would venture that I will be riding on the trainer in the house where its warm and there is no wind this afternoon

Procrastinated all day and so rode at night. It wasn't too cold, but the howling wind made the first kilometer feel brutally cold. Perfect conditions though; a few inches of fresh powder packed down by a few riders. I have to say, fat biking sure helps to improve or allow for easy two wheel drifting.

My wife got me a pair of noise cancelling headphones to use on the trainer. Big improvement. Nice to not hear really any of the nose from the trainer or bike.
